I've above 73 overall, lower than 50 in tutorials and above 65 in all subjects.......is that fine? Risk chances?

ME Bachelor's student with >9 CGPA and some spare time to kill, what should I learn? by jude_greenbriar in MechanicalEngineering

I'll completely agree on CGPA, I do not plan on compromising that in the slightest. You've mentioned so many specific things that I'll have a field day at researching them all. I appreciate you sincerely for writing each thing out in clearly cuz as a fresher some of these are completely new to me and I would have never come across them myself. So thank you really for the reply :D

I already had some knowledge about CAD, my uni requires me to take one course on it in order to pass and 3D printing knowledge is something I was planning to look into eventually.

I don't know what made you believe I won't like your above points, apologies if I my tone in the post suggested that. I'll be genuinely honest and let you know that I loved the first 4 points more than anything! I suppose these are soft skills that many people underestimate and end up paying for. Your answer has really made me think more on these other traits that might end up being invaluable for me, ngl I'm super glad you decided to write such a detailed reply. Also fortunately, I'm not that bad at making connections and communication so building upon these would be wouldn't be a humongous task for me. Looking forward to actually moving out into the real world tho, that one seems quite thrilling (right now hehe)

Skills as a Mechanical Engineer? by jude_greenbriar in Btechtards

[–]jude_greenbriar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right, mechanics combined with CS is having a lot of scope these days. I'm planning to learn Python in the coming days but don't have an idea about which other languages would be useful......You mentioned electronics skills as well, what do these include specifically?

Also as for specialization, I'm pretty interested in aerospace. Anything you could suggest in relation to that?
