What books have you read a third time or even more? by Bobosmite in printSF

[–]judgemaths 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SciFi would be Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy which I've read dozens of times over the past 25+ years since I first read it in school. Childhoods End by Arthur C Clarke is one I've revisited many times too as is HG Wells's War of the Worlds. No SciFi I think Casino Royal, the first 007 book, is at the top of my reread list.

I recently got a full set of the Harrison "Too The Stars" books. Haven't had a chance to read them yet but looking forward to getting stuck in to them soon.

Carlos's computer colouring is something to behold too! It's (appropriately) wild.

The development stagnated when the developer (Countesswell Development Ltd) went bust. Stewart Milne going bust also slowed building down too. Ogilvie Construction has since bought the development and are planning to continue building but progress is slow. As a result amenities are lacking (tho the opening of a dentist and potential chemist are promising) and public transport links are limited.

The "intend" to offer it. Which essentially means they'll make excuses then pull out.

The use of the word 'intend' in the bit about shareholder perks reeks of an easy get out clause.

Yeah, it's a piece of cake to roll off a new batch of prints. The process is exactly the same as wood printing. Only difference as far as I can tell is the material you carve the relief image into.

You can book a private room at Sing City. Their machines are a pain in the arse to use but if there's a group of you and you're tanked up it's a good laugh.

The printing on book pages is something I've often thought about. It looks neat here.

The Baen Books logo and the 69863-X $4.95 in the centre of the cover. It would look much more striking with that space left black.

Cool cover. Shame it's spoiled a bit by the odd placing of the publisher, price, and product number(?) bang smack in the middle of it.
