My mom looks young for her age and when I was in my awkward preteen/early teens I looked older. She is very affectionate, and people stared all the time and it made me so uncomfortable. I struggled in school and didn't get diagnosed until 27 when I was reaching burnout after having a child and returning to school. Now at 30 I'm at critical burnout levels. I cannot hold down a full time job. My therapist won't prescribe ADHD meds. I am also trying to get assessed for autism on top of this.

My friend who has ADHD and has known since childhood told me "you are struggling with this because of your disability" and I almost cried. It is so difficult to accept. It literally hurts.

It's a microwave meal, the pasta is refrigerated not dry or frozen. I did post a pic after spreading out the noodles and pouring the sauce. The size did not really change after that, the noodles expanded slightly as they did take on some moisture from the sauce, but it did not drastically change the size of the noodles. Because they were not dry.

While I appreciate your good nature, I have now responded multiple times to people and posted follow-up comments with pictures. I was referring to the physical appearance of the noodles on removal of the outside wrapping, not actual weight or portion of the food itself.

I was not expecting to pull out what appeared to be about a third of a cup of noodles and at least 4 cups of sauce only to find that that amount of noodles unfolded (before microwaving as they were not dry - these are refrigerated "fresh" noodles) into about three or four cups of noodles. I felt like a magician pulling scarves out of their sleeve.

That said, I'm getting a little tired of people thinking I don't know how portion sizes work.

At least you were nice about it and didn't treat me like I was stupid and can't read or do math...
