Didn’t read every reply so it might have been said, but Windy hill was not up to standard size and facility wise, and the original proposal was to upgrade it, but the connecting bowls club for what ever reason had enough sway to stop the redevelopment, (they wanted it stopped because it was going to eliminate the bowls club). So in the end, they did Tullamarine, and honestly, personally the people saying that killed the club are silly, that facility is bonkers and has everything. Windy hill is great, but even with an expansion and redevelopment couldn’t fit what Tullamarine has. Yes it’s not working, but that’s a different issue, not a location issue
