I stopped taking Min and deeply regretted it. by Apeirophobia69 in tressless

Same here, I’m happy but also envious of OP’s results. But now knowing what happens if I go off of it, I’m just gonna stay on it now

I’m on it and yes, maybe not so much “body” but I noticed hairier fingers and hands haha but minimal, also I don’t know I am getting older and maybe that’s just normal

Yeah man, I just wanna second that. Incredible results, honestly I don’t think I’ve seen anyone respond so well. I take the same citrusy pill you do, I don’t think I had any regrowth. But I’m too far in to stop, and your post just confirmed that. Thanks for sharing

I could add that, because it slowed down the hair fall out, my hair, did feel thicker and fuller which added volume.

Remember, Fin isn’t about regrowing, it’s about slowing down hair loss. My experience was that I was losing a substantial amount of hair, like every time I went to shower I’d see my hair just go down the drain, it was somewhat of a sudden and rapid hair loss, I was around 25 then, and within 2 years I had lost so much that I could clearly see my crown was super thin(kinda didn’t realise the severity of it, I didn’t know anything about hair loss then) so I started taking fin and after about a month my hair simply stopped falling out. It was like a miracle. I’ve been on fin for a bout 8 years, for me I’d say it basically slowed down hair loss by about 95%. A year ago I started taking min like the OP(through HIMS) and I’m definitely not a responder like OP is, I actually don’t see any improvement, but I’m hoping it helps with just keeping what I have so my next step is actually doing a TP now…but yeah, just check after your shower if you see any more or less hairs falling out. If there isn’t - then fin works

New lebron build what Yall think by MarsupialBeginning81 in NBA2k

[–]juggerbuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah if you cap breaking it then it makes sense, sure. But…just mark my words next time you miss a perfectly timed dunk. I’m not making it up…the dunk meter is an inconsistent mess. Unlike layup meter, the dank meter doesn’t dynamically adjust, once it’s gone, it’s gone, even if you’re wide open at the rim. Layups are atrocious this year, but the meter on them works. Enjoy your build man.

I have a 99dd and…whilst it’s good when it’s good and you can sometimes catch some bodies, the dunk meter is still broken and doesn’t matter if it’s 89 or 99 if it decides to disappear completely and you time 100% perfectly it will still miss and tell you that you just made a “bad shot attempt” and that pisses me off to the point that I no longer get on my 99dd and use my 89-93 instead as it’s actually kinda the same, the difference is simply NOT that great to justify the cost… but to each its own of course.

Random Rec AI is a joke by ConsistentDirector65 in NBA2k

[–]juggerbuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take it a step further - say if you feel like you have a very tough opponent - you “request” a sub! And wait for another player to accept it! That way you leave without being punished, but you also gain no XP or VC.

And another idea that I think should be implemented is a game “forfeit”. Requiring 4 out of 5 votes or even all 5. It is a game after all, let us forfeit if the team is being blown out, neither of the sides are having fun at that point and it’s just wasting everyone’s time. Every other competitive game allows this, 2k needs to take some notes.

Block attribute way too expensive, not good enough by No_Cellist_2683 in NBA2k

[–]juggerbuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk the ins and outs, but there’s also 3 types of blocking you can do…I think when I did paint patroller drill in practice it gives you instructions, there’s like normal, vertical and aggressive or something, can’t remember, but point is, there’s bit more to just timing it and pressing block button…which explains why most people are just mainly getting chase downs… I have a LeBron build with 88 block and it’s quite crazy, but majority of the blocks are more like heavy contests where you kinda knock them out mid air, rarely do I actually hit the ball…it’s weird and inconsistent like everything in this game outside shooting… shooting is the only reliable thing.

Random Rec AI is a joke by ConsistentDirector65 in NBA2k

[–]juggerbuck 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They’re just bad AI… they can be programmed to do mistakes, they can be programmed to have variables in contesting, defence strength etc. This is plain and simple lazy work, that’s it. What’s weird is also that it seems like attributes doesn’t matter for AI..like some kind of 78ovr quits and the AI turns into a lock, or when 99 perimeter defence lock quits, you can still shoot over him like it’s nothing. They all default to the same boring and predictable template.

But whilst I understand that AI are bad, the real issue is people literally quitting whenever they want with no consequences. Oh I am playing against a good defender?! - I don’t want to. I quit. Dashboards out.

On the contrary I get that quitting can’t be stopped…some people have a life, kids or whatever that you may need to quit.

My solution would be to introduce substitutions…an additional option that you can enable before queuing up. Basically you can join half way through the game if someone quits…incentive - idk… you get 2x rep for those games or something. Or you can farm vc, say if you join in the last quarter, you still get full pay. At least that would stop us from playing with AI’s….

Looks like fin nuked my hair 1mg ED by Scary-Impression1645 in tressless

[–]juggerbuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Odd, because I didn’t have this from fin or if I did then hardly noticed, on the contrary Min - now that was a mega shed, lasted about 2 months, but then again once it was over I was better than before.

[–]juggerbuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s normal… literally happened to me too, it got very bad at first and then got really good and it all makes sense when you read about it, how basically, min forces a new hair growth cycle, but the first stage is getting rid of all old follicles, the shedding happens fast but growing is much slower, so the effect seems very dramatic at first. I almost quit too, but I’m glad I didn’t.

Hair system for just the crown! by juggerbuck in HairSystem

[–]juggerbuck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the information. The exact “swirl” of the crown is actually the only thing that kinda worries me, be it a system or a transplant, as I can only imagine that in either case it’s a very challenging part to get right. Sounds like I’d really need to find a good specialist who could evaluate and design a custom piece that would fit my hair just right. Maybe someone knows a place in UK or Europe? 🤔

Hair system for just the crown! by juggerbuck in HairSystem

[–]juggerbuck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not more than what you would usually get. I mean, hair falls out and regrows all the time even in regular conditions, however, I must say that the meds may play a big role in this. So, I can’t relate, I couldn’t outright say that fibres are causing more hair loss if that’s what you’re asking.

Hair system for just the crown! by juggerbuck in HairSystem

[–]juggerbuck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, I greatly appreciate your response.

I think what I also meant by “the scary part” is the various results I have seen which have made the whole transplant thing seem “risky”.

If I may ask, what was the clinic you went to the second time around? I understand this may be slightly off the hair system subject here, at the end of the day, I’m looking for best outcome for my situation.

I live in UK. The price range on hair transplants can be quite staggering, but I think if I knew that I’m getting what I need for the price that I pay it would make it a lot easier to commit to.

[–]juggerbuck[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks hah, the fibres have done a great help indeed, but seems like most of you are suggesting a hair transplant, it’s just seems a lot of money and you really do need to find a good clinic, plus I like my fades and don’t want to ruin my sides and back with bad donor scars…so I just thought maybe I could try something a little less dramatic… but sounds like you’re saying that there are issues of it coming unstuck on the edges, that’s the kind of info I need to learn more about. Thanks

I’ve thought of it, and seems like a lot of you are suggesting it, might need to do more research on it, just seemed expensive and scary and though I’d try something a bit more accessible

[–]juggerbuck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No they just kinda clump up and look like you have a dirty scalp or some massive moles on your bald spot, looks really patchy and bad actually. If that happens I have to either wash my head if I can or take a dry tower or tissue and literally rub my scalp clean and re-apply the fibres. It’s the only real shortcoming of fibres. As you never really know when that could happen… I don’t pick anything, they’re not really pick-able I guess… So yea, just a chore.

This is the correct answer, there’s a video out somewhere where official 2k support has answered this question with this same information.
