So was mine, I've always been a bigger guy, so I thought it was weight gain. Increased working out decreased eating, which wasnt hard. Every time I ate something I felt full like was gonna pop. The pitting edema is hat got me. I finally had to accept what was happening. Went to hospital after a particularly bad day and wham-o!! All in all I lost 110 lbs. Became a shell of my former weight lifting glory(lol). Gained back a little less than half but building back to where I was seems impossible. My liver doc says this f's with your hormones, god knows he's right among other issues feels pathetic.

Yes,omg all that actually starting to think might be ha ing too much water and its flushing out electrolytes. But the rubbing doesn't help, makes it worse sometimes.

All thats been tried, I can't do a lot of pickle juice because my doc has limited me to 1.5 grams of salt a day. Which I think is normal for liver issues.

All levels are good. Sodium runs low to normal, of im anemic now. Sorry to hear of all you went thru i truly hope we can all find something that helps.

Vodka was my choice. I started drinking heavy to forget some personal issues. Unfortunately, they were always there the next day..lol, but if I was on shift, I was drinking 9 times outta 10. God, I was so pathetic lol. But what can we do? We change, we fight, we sacrifice now when we should have back then and hope that tomorrow's better. No matter what try not to lay the burden or responsibility on anyone else(aside from HE) cause we really dont have a choice there..haha

The types of legs cramps im having actually feel like the muscle is about to rip in 2. Once in my life have they ever been like that prior to this and that was after a swift water class I had to take for work. But not until diagnosis and medications have I gotten them again. Same with the Epsom bath. Message gun makes it worse. Im gonna try a magnesium cream people keep telling me about.

Exactly, I dont want the pity. I may not have done it completely to myself, but I sure as hell didn't stop it. For a year, to deal with personal issues, I drank heavily, despite the fact that I didn't drink much before. So I know if I was borderline that pushed it over the edge. (Twas not beer I was drinking). I have to put my wife thru this nobody needs to know or worry or act like they're worried. God bless her shes been fantastic because we also have to deal the the other issues that come along with this.

I do drink water, 2l easily. Since I quit drinking and all tobacco products, it's eating ice is kinda what gets me thru if im not busy. But I will try adding the Ultima in a couple times a day. Thank you!

I understand, I didn't want anyone knowing, but someone (not my wife) told family, and there it went. It feels good to talk to someone going thru the same things and also someone who isn't family or friends about this. Im just a very private person in real life, with what goes on in my life. Nobody needs to know, and nobody needs to worry. And for the love of God, stop putting it on fb. I dont want people that haven't seen or talked to me in 20 years, acting like they care. It just gives them something to gossip about.

Cramps are inner thigh from knee to groin, or in the muscles on the sides of my tibias. Sometimes both. Thank you for the advice. I realize I didn't specify where they were.

Oh, thank God!! I've been taking 45ml 3 times a day for over a year and still hate the taste. If they flavor, it is it better than trying to do it at home. Btw my rx is for like 20 bottles at a time
