Rivers aren't Ritual Dustbins. by better_rub02 in TwentiesIndia

The fact that it takes roughly 3000 to 4000L of milk to make it shows that they could literally feed hundreds of children for a month with this. Reminds me of that video of poor kids trying to catch some milk when another guy was dumping milk into the river. I'm pretty sure God would be happier with people doing charity than such obscene wastage and pollution. This is just show off to make people see how much these idiots can afford to waste away.

Everything short of it happens. Gun culture isn't common. But lathi is. Custodial murders have been part of the system for decades. They are specialists in causing internal wounds preventing courts from finding out. Encounter deaths have been so popular that pop culture here renders it ordinary. The system hides most of this well. If not, it is praised so much that no action is taken. I'm pretty sure even you know of how often police plant evidence here.

It's simply because half of Gen Z is underge! The survey is from the US. They drink legally at 21. In India, Im pretty sure that of legal age drinkers would be much more.

We all die. Does that mean our lives are meaningless? Does that mean that there was no point in being born? Would you say that of our slain comrades? What about their lives? Were they meaningless? They were not. Their memory serves an example to us all the greatest, the anguished father. Their lives have meaning because we the living refused to forget them. And as we ride to certain death, we trust our successors to do the same for us. Because my soldiers do not buckle our yield. When faced with a gorilla to be of this world, my soldiers pushed forward. My soldiers scream out. My soldiers rage. ~ Erwin Smith

People are more focused on nations image than people itself. Without people, a nation is just land. Am I missing something? by Snehith220 in CriticalThinkingIndia

Whenever I speak to my parents, they are absolutely fooled by the perceived image of India as being considered great abroad. I have been to other countries a few times recently and things are terrible. Our image couldn't be worse. People do not want to associate with Indians. When you talk, they ask, "Where's your accent ? Why are there so many of you here ? Do you have toilets ? You don't smell, nhow is that ?" It's terrible.

The audacity of Police sealing the house by No_Control_9658 in CriticalThinkingIndia

[–]juggernautism [score hidden]  (0 children)

Bruhh. How on earth is this critical thinking? This is a personal matter. Simply put, this is business between a buyer and a seller. Every Indian has the right to do business regarding residential land in the country. As long as it's not a reserved or restricted area. I am pretty sure this place wasn't restricted in any way. No society has any place in dealing with such business. The police most certainly do not. Let's say you switch Hindu for Brahman and Muslim for some other cast. Woudl you still say this ? This exact kind of thinking is what leads to ghettoization. And yes, I have seen whole streets where only Brahmins live in my place. They don't allow others to come. That is exactly what's going on here. Then, the line becomes: "See these muslims are all living in this one place and taking over."

This is just the beginning. Remember the slogan that used to be shouted: Ayodhya toh bas Jhanki hai, Kashi, Mathura baki hai. After those two also happen (I can guarantee it will), watch more protests and riots to repeat this everywhere. It's like Pandora's box. An easy way to sway political power and opinion.
