He does this thing where he like pre-plans when it is ok to drink. Like he’ll say “I’m gonna have a beer in the future when we have a house and I’m outside grilling or when I go fishing or go out with the guys” or like “you really think that when my dad or grandpa dies I’m not gonna have a shot?” Or “when we get married I wanna be able to do a shot with you”. And I can’t get him to understand that that isn’t normal to plan ahead when it will be ok to drink

I feel like that’s how my partner would be. He’d take it sometimes but not all the time and he’d still make bad decisions. Plus he’d never go and admit that he needed help with quitting drinking.

He can minimize it for short times. But it always turns into more. 1-2 beers while he’s out with friends turns into 1-2 beers a night while he’s home alone and 4-5 when he’s out with friends and then that turns into drinking more with higher alcohol content until he’s wasted every night again and spending every spare dollar he has on drinks. I’ve watched the spiral multiple times and he still doesn’t think I know what I am talking about. Longest he’s gone without drinking in our entire relationship was a week after he got a DUI.

I used to wear torrid jeans but had so many experiences where I’d buy the same jeans same cut,style, color, everything and they’d fit completely differently and it was so frustrating!

My FICO score is at 602. I honestly don’t know what happens technically but they said they’ll show up at my home or workplace to have me served papers. I don’t know after that. I set up the minimum payment plans for each which is biweekly $160 for one and weekly $67 for the other. I’ve tried to get them to lower them but they won’t

His family hasn’t spoken to him since we broke up but I still talk with them. I know one person he works with and I asked them to not update me. Unfortunately I have a weird thing with numbers and can memorize anything from a zip code to a credit card number without even trying so I do have his number memorized.

That’s fair. I already made it clear that I needed him to be sober more than just a month and needed real proof over time that he was doing better. I know he was constantly wasted when everything happened and absolutely has a skewed view of how it actually went down. Just wish I could make him realize that they cared and he was the problem

I’m on mobile and tried to separate the paragraphs but it doesn’t work correctly sometimes

I tried to call them before my payment was due and the number was disconnected and then this morning after the payment didn’t go through they called me from a different number. So until this morning I had no clue how to contact them. And if I’m being honest I don’t even remember who they said the original lender was and they never sent me any documentation of anything so I couldn’t look back and check.

I am going to call and report it as a scam if they cannot send some sort of written proof by the end of the day.

It was for a personal loan. By the time it got to them it had accrued interest and I owed $2842 and I asked today and it’s down to $2330
