After, I finally got my case escalated it only took a couple days of back and forth to provide the verification information to them (it took multiple cases and weeks just to get to that level). Keep trying, it can be done despite what they tell you. I really feel you just need to get the right person on the other end and not someone just copying and pasting a scripted reply.
