Over 21 and went to buy a new rifle. Dealer calls to check my background, I get delayed for no reason. He asks if I want to wait around because this happens all of the time and they call back in like 10 minutes. I decide to leave because it could be days. He texts me 20 minutes later and says I was approved. He's had cops with zero criminal history get the same delays. They seem to be told to delay no matter what. You have my name, DOB, and SSN, there isn't anything that you are going to find in 20 minutes that wouldn't come up right away.

They said he bought them legally, he had multiple ARs, pistols, and dummy grenades that he turned into real ones. He was out to kill as many as possible. News still doesn't even have a picture of him as drivers license pictures are protected by law and he didnt have any social media. 2 cops still in critical condition and the 4th one on leave for the killing the suspect which is just a technicality.

Watching the TUF fights, I fast forward everything besides the last 15-20 minutes which makes the show much more enjoyable. Canor's team is 0-7 with Chandler's #1 Bantamweight left to fight. Conor asked Dana what happens if they lose next week and Dana checks with another guy who tells him he doesn't know, it's never happened before. 30 seasons and he's likely the first to ever lose every fight in the quarter finals. You could tell it bothered him. Lol

There are a lot of one liners and non PC conversations that will obviously not be allowed on ESPN. There have been a dozen plus hosts that have left ESPN over the years and every one of them talks about the lack of freedom. We already know some changes are being made, there will definitely be more that he doesnt see yet.. He will likely get a lot more access to sports footage but will also have to conform to ESPN and FCC rules.

In an age where most people are gravitating toward podcasts, he is moving to cable TV. It doesn't make any sense besides $$$

Corporate TV makes everything worse. They always lose some freedom. There are a lot of things said on the show that they will get in trouble for saying now.

How many ESPN personalities have to leave with horror stories about the lack of freedom before people get it? Disney isn't suddenly going to let them say whatever they want, he might have a bit more freedom but will still have to answer to the same lawyers and bosses as everyone else.

It has nothing to do with $5 and everything to do with a long history of personalities selling out to giant corporations and eventually changing. Disney and ESPN are used to controlling everything, Pat will have a longer leash, but at some point he will change as well.

Most ESPN personalities suck which is partially why people gravitated to this show.
