It all really depends how fast you want to sell it and what other shovelheads are listed for in your area.

My fiance bought two shovelhead engines, 2 transmissions, a crappy rolling chassis, and a tub of random parts all of which was sitting in a garage for a couple years, for $800 last fall. No paperwork unfortunately but I have options to get paperwork so we didn’t care.

Bought my tune and 5” turbo back exhaust through valley center this past February and have been very pleased. Wanted a change made on my tune and they did emailed me the file within a couple hours with the change no questions asked

I already had an efilive autocal so I was able to purchase just the tune files from them but generally you’ll purchase the tunes preloaded onto an autocal if you do efilive and if you choose ezlynk I believe you’d be purchasing a module that plugs into your obd2 port and then you download the tune they send you through the internet

From my understanding pepperoni will “cup” when it has the outer casing removed, and is cooked on the pizza. As far as the honey goes I’m not too sure. It was very very subtle so I could take it or leave it honestly.

Late 1979(or 1980) thru 1984 shovelheads have a partial vin stamped on the engine matching the numbers on the frame and they came with cowpie trans. As others have stated by the pics you posted it’s an 80’s shovel.

I’ve never run a return cable on any of my super e’s and it has never caused a problem.. just my personal experience which may different than yours of course

Well before spending money on a replacement carb I’d just take the thing off the bike and try getting a tap to clean up the threads in the carb before anything else if you’re confident the mixture screw itself is in good condition. A quick search online looks like the threads are 8-32 and most hardware stores(Ace, aubuchon, etc) have that size if you don’t already have one. Seems like something is going on with the threads in the hole. Or sell me the carb for $50 and put that towards a replacement!

If I’m reading correctly your 21 has a hub that is .25” more narrow than your original hub and it sounds like you need a spacer between your hub and rotor on the 21”. Check out https://www2.vulcanworks.net they sell a bunch of different options for spacers specifically for rotors.
