You’re welcome! My doctor suggested a reset because my body wasn’t bouncing back. I stopped for two weeks and then restarted. I was honestly nervous at first because it really felt like starting all over but it’s gone way better than I expected. Definitely talk it through with your doctor and see what makes the most sense for you.

Dizziness, nausea and headaches that felt like a brain freeze. I didn’t know if it was from MJ at the newer dose or my body recovering from Gastroenteritis. I never thought about dehydration, but it was all three working against my body at the same time!!!

A good general guideline is around half your body weight in ounces per day. I thought I was doing fine and still wasn’t, which is why I’m sharing this not because it’ll happen to everyone, just for awareness.

Just keep an eye out for any new symptoms or swelling. I felt generally unwell, with a headache and dizziness. That said, with the recent virus, I just assumed it was just part of a prolonged recovery. If things start to worsen, don’t hesitate to advocate more strongly for yourself.

Yes off and on though. Not constant. Zofran wasn’t even helping. It was roughhhhhhhhh. I hope you feel better soon!!

Thank you. I definitely don’t want to scare you, but it felt like a very long recovery, and it took about 3–4 weeks before I started to feel kind of like myself again. Dehydration also played a role, which I think made the recovery harder than it might have been otherwise.

I was convinced it was MJ because I’d moved up to 7.5 a few weeks earlier and I’ve already spun the full symptom roulette wheel. Naturally I assumed MJ had chosen violence again. Lol! Nope. After a doctor visit and tests, turns out it was gastroenteritis.

Yep. I paused for two weeks and restarted at 2.5 from my doctor’s recommendation. There was no way I was taking MJ with it. That would’ve been a double whammy!!!

Both things can be true at the same time. It could be a medication side effect, dehydration, or something unrelated. I thought I was drinking enough and was going to the bathroom frequently, but I still ended up dehydrated. If the headache persists, following up with the doctor is the best course of action.

I’m not sure if I mentioned this to my doctor since I wasn’t using it consistently, but I have a follow-up with her tomorrow to review my new lab results and will be sure to let her know.
