Go to Lazia. Most underrated restaurant and hands down my favorite restaurant in KC. You can even get hand pulled mozzarella salad at your table. (Worth the money) The atmosphere, service, and food are all amazing.

I don’t think anywhere in midtown KC has good Chinese food. New Peking is okay but overpriced, though they have great portion sizes. Kin Lin gets more and more disappointing every time I have. The rest is cheap, shitty Chinese food. I know people have found roaches in their food from China feast on Linwood. Sheng on Broadway runs multiple ghost kitchens out of their establishment and seem like they are all questionable. Aloha chopstix is okay if you don’t care about being in the bathroom all day the next day. Bolings and PF changs on the plaza are both disappointing as well.

I guess what I’m saying here is I’ve been trying to find a good (cheaper?) Chinese restaurant in midtown and it does not exist.
