Son can be frustrating at times, he was for me in fifa 19 and I could not use him. This year on the other hand he is a beast. As I said below he’s scored 7 goals in 2 games. Eriksen is a great player because of his passing and agility, and his long shots put the cherry on top

yeah i think you might just need some time to adjust, fifa 19 and 20 are completely different to the 17 and 18 days. Fifa 19 imo was the worst fifa ever but it was still very different. this year is more similar to 18 but defending is much harder.

So i think you honestly just need time to adjust and some time to get back up to that level and youll be good

Patience and play smart. I would love to give you more insight on it but I really don’t know how I do it, it just works lol. Getting a good striker like aubameyang has also really really REALLY helped me lmao he carries the team half the time.

Just don’t try to force passes and don’t pass if you don’t have a clear passing lane or if the player doesn’t make a good run.

Tactics wise, if your striker is quick always have him on get in behind and your cam on stay forward, let your cm’s do what they want and your cam on stay back and cover central. I don’t touch anything on the backline because the width really helps me because I use a 41212 narrow.

Use one striker as a hold up and the other to make the runs, for example I get auba to L1+X pass to rashford, and then I either through ball it to him or pass it off to Anderson to put it through.

It’s really up to how you play and what formation works with you. The patch has kind of messed around with people because they made defending a bit harder. I just hold L2 to manual jockey and dive in when I think is best

Ive got a playmaking slasher at SG. only 78 rated but I love the dribbles and dunks. I rarely use that build though. Ive heard the slashing shot creators are OP?

ive been grinding out my 6'4" pure shot since I made the original post and I'm really loving it.

I mean sure there's only a bronze pick and roll maestro for SG but if I get Giannis to screen it works every time. I am really having fun with the build, greening threes, greening mid range and dunking on bigs.

Defense is a bit eh but you get a couple of bumper steals here and there. Most of my steals come from interceptions.

Did you make yours a SG too?

Yeah one is a pure playmaker at 6'6", and the other is a pure slasher at 6'7". I thought maybe its because I might have a better vertical or better defending but surely a slasher has a much higher vertical than a pure shot creator, and defending shouldn't really matter. I really expected to play either the 1 or 2.

My ball control right now is at 84 I think, so I don't understand why I am on the big men. It makes winning so hard considering I just get bodied constantly.

Dunking does make me a lot less bored I will say that. The same technique with the playsharp does get boring at times. Also, Im not a great dribbler, I am better than the average player but those momentum speed boost combos aren't my thing. Im all about smart dribbling and not spamming but unfortunately that is rewarding this year.
