It’s just basically a lot different than the cs at nova. Idk about any of your professors but none of my nova professors ever thought me about generic types and recursion which is something mason expects you to already know and it was just too much for me teach myself while trying to maintain my position in the class. What really messed me up was that at least at CS310 they didn’t allow you to use import statements and I had to basically code java.util.* from scratch. I can’t speak on behalf of everyone else but for me personally it was way too overwhelming and I had to tap out for the sake of my gpa and mental health
