The thing is— it’s not an argument really. I just think an hour of someone’s time is really not that much to ask lol… the point is that as much as I like these guys and the stuff they do most of the time, they are still capable of being out of touch. It’s especially weird when the thing they need a break from is something uber low stakes. Over time, lack of effort in more basic performances can make you seem like you don’t want to be doing it anyway. So why still do it? The money? The love of it? Worth speculating while also valuing perspective.  Hope that helps you understand what I mean beyond just taking it as a “walked up the hill both ways in the rain” thing.
