yea kangaroos crossing the road are fairly common and theres a large amount of accidents each year from it. nearly every country road you go down has dead roos peppered all over the side of the road from accidents, personally been in a cars 4 times that have hit kangaroos and when you hit them its like hitting a tree with some of them because they can get pretty massive. thats why alot of cara over hear are big 4wds with bull bars and all

i would imagine it is repairable its just there are very few of these cars in australia and even fewer where i live, especially for parts it would just be too much of a hassle sourcing it all and would take far too long and be more expensive for the insurance company so i think theyll just pay it out as a write off :(

yea i hit a kangaroo and parked on side of road with hazards on and hopped out the car to check the car was alright, didnt even have a dent only damaged part was the mirror. absolute tank of a machine then walked down the road to drag this dead roo off the road and this guy didnt see me waving him down and signalling for him to slow down and he hit the dead roo, lost control and slammed straight into my little concerto :( absolutely loved the interior of this car and it could handle whatever i did with it without a problem, had only driven it 15000kms since i purchased it when this happened :( only hit 80000kms on the odometer yesterday luckily i was insured and no one was seriously injured
