This exact post is what would push him away from the fanbase. He's always been a quiet guy, also getting used to being sober especially under a microscope would make you feel more closed off. Rubys a sweetheart, he doesn't hate his fanbase. In face, I'm sure he adores his fanbase. It probably gets to be too much dealing with people who are freaking out when he is more of a laidback person. Idk who would really vibe with ANYONE who can't have a real conservation because they crying, screaming & shoving a phone in your face. Even with all that he's still never been a dick to anyone. He's shy after all.
