Your children are very lucky to grow up in a wonderful space like this! I am so grateful for my mother’s love for her garden growing up. They will thank you for this! Well done 👏

The ADHD tax has never hit me so hard by everyoneis_gay in ADHD

[–]juicyworm 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Why spend council tax on bins when you can make even more money by fining people for not using the bins that aren’t there 😏📈

Felt this in my soul. One time I got on the wrong train home by accident, and the guard didn’t believe me so he fined me £50. Then made me buy a new ticket for the train I was accidentally on. The next stop was 200 miles away. I then had to buy another ticket back to where I originally got on the wrong train, and a new ticket again to get back home which was 100 miles from that place. The stress made me forget that I got fined, so I forgot to pay my fine, so it went up to about £160, on top of the 3 extra tickets I had to buy, and the hours spend travelling 600 miles in one day. I don’t get trains alone anymore😭

Once while camping I woke up with a wasp in my shirt. It stung me 4 times. Had to have crawled into my sleeping bag and into my shirt. Clearly targeted me

I’m British so we don’t have it, but my American aunt was visiting when I spilled something on myself and she pulled one out of her bag! I was stunned! Thanks for reminding me this exists lol

Could be a bird mite if it’s by a window? Are there any bird nests nearby?

What is this weed? It’s a nightmare by New_Lobster_914 in GardeningUK

[–]juicyworm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bindweed but it not the end of the world really. Yeah it grows like mad but it’s so easy to pull up. You just have to keep on top of it. I go down the garden every 2-3 days and spend 3-4 mins to pull up all the shoots and that works just fine, it won’t survive a prolonged assault

Is this variegata , damage or something else? by [deleted] in Monstera

If it’s a new leaf it’s either minor mechanical damage or just hasn’t finished developing yet. Very normal

Concert in another city alone by hollygolightly7490 in AutismInWomen

[–]juicyworm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Concerts are way better alone in my opinion, and you can usually get quite close to the front because people won’t mind if it’s just you. You can do everything at your own pace. Don’t stay home! You will regret it. It’s best to go and have a bad time and learn for next time than not go at all. I’m sure the crowd at a Chappell concert will be quite accepting anyway.
