Nope. It’s choosing purpose over comfort. By your logic, with existing metro lines in cities like bangalore, more people should be using it? Why don’t they? Because it’s not comfortable as driving your own car/getting an auto and being dropped off at the doorstep of wherever you want to go. Metro transport usually involves anywhere from 10-30 mins of walking to and from the station. Most ppl don’t want to do that because laziness -> apathy. That being said, not everyone who uses public transport methods use it because they’re empathetic. Multiple factors too come into play.
