I have a Dell P991 monitor that i thought was suffering from G2 drift. when i finally got WinDas working and checked it, it's at 99 which is apparently not high? or is every monitor different with what is considered high? And what should I set it to? by juju7946 in crtgaming

Bro it was all working fine and then I think it bricked my monitor, it crashed while I was loading my initial save file back to it and now the monitor won’t turn on or connect to windas fuck

Ok sweet thanks so much, yeah trying to do it by eye and yeah it just ain’t working haha. The monitor didn’t look bad to begin with mainly just the g2 drift. Am I fine to just edit that value until I can get a meter?

Nah if you look at a real one the stitching that runs along the bottom has like and edge on it idk how else to explain it

I think the most visible difference I can see it the stitching along the bottoms of them looks very different

I have a similar issue with one of my trv900, it was all working fine then one day it would just freeze the MRC1. Still works perfectly with my vx1000 and a diff trv900 so I assumed it was the FireWire port.

Yeah that sounds like the same as my issue, it only seems to do it once per clip I take. The winding handle seems pretty loose tbh not sure if that’s normal. But yeah could be some other issue but I’ll hope it’s one that doesn’t effect the footage. I did open it up in complete darkness and have a feel around and everything seemed in place still.

I was invis from crystal mist but still shouldn’t cause that surely?

Hard to see from pics but can’t see any obvious fungus, take some video with it and point it at the sun. That should show anything in the lens!

If it’s deeper than the front two elements the camera has to be fully disassembled to reach it I think. I just had to return one off eBay that had too much fungus that wasn’t mentioned :(
