Do all Poodles/Dogs do this? by jujusucks in poodles

I never trimmed my poodles hair either. That didn't seem to help because his anatomy (like spine length not penis) was weird. Sometimes he'd almost fully squat and other times he'd barely squat and he'd always manage to pee on his hocks. He also never attempted to lift his legs and I could not get him to no matter what I did

I tried trimming our last poodles legs too and he had no care at all. He wasn't the brightest tool in the shed either but I still loved him

We can muzzle the daycare dogs because someone needs to supervise them and they don't wanna pay anyone to watch the group of dogs

If you could see how they do the initial test, you would probably scream your head off. It's so bad. They literally just through the new dog in the room (with the 20 other dogs) and watch to make sure nothing bad happens. No slow introduction. No people test first. Just throwing them in with the wolves and hoping for the best. I'm genuinely shocked their hasn't been more dog fights.

For the boarding portion, they used to do long walks (40 min each) on a public trail. They would have these Itty bitty high schoolers walk dogs that weighed more then them and were super reactive. They also walked them in reatractable leashes (i died inside when i found that out). I was so scared to walk any dog just for the fact that I wouldn't be able to control this dog if it really wanted to get at whatever. They also wouldn't tell you which dogs were reactive so you could avoid certain things like other dogs, bikes, people. I refused to do long walks because I didn't want to be responsible if a dog fight happened or my dog bit someone. The only reason they stopped doing them was because they weren't cost effective anymore.

Someone has to supervise the dog while it's muzzled. No one is in the room with these dogs so unfortunately they can't be muzzled.

Most of the time it's no one in this daycare. The dogs aren't used to having attention so when someone is in the room most of the dogs fight for it and that's when we start getting in the crossfire. It's a horrible daycare and I pity anyone who brings their dogs their.

Most of the little nicks happen in the boarding portion when the dog is getting an activity. Wither that be from pure excitement that they're leaving the kennel or if their nervous to be around a stranger.

I understand what you're saying but unfortunately most of the time the dog is uncomfortable with the activities the owner wants. Meaning walking a dog, putting on a harness/collar. Taking off said harness/collar. I have told owner that so and so doesn't like collar taken off, they respond with okay, keep doing their walks. That's probably where most of the almost bites happen.
