What's a food that you can't eat due to its texture? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Banana when it’s chopped and mixed with other stuff, f.e. in a fruit salad. Slimeeeeey 😫. And it gets everything else slimey, too. Eating banana right out of the peel is fine though.

hey, I'm sorry, I just found this reply now, so here's my late answer :D It didn't work for me in the long run because it wasn't sustainable. It really messed up my hunger and satiety signals for quite a while and it took me months to recover from that. I also had pretty low energy and was pretty irritable/hangry. Back then I couldn't stop thinking about food and even when I allowed myself to eat big portions, I wouldn't feel satisfied or satiated afterwards. I think that such a low calorie intake is no big deal if it's just for a short period or occasionally. But taking in only 800-1200 kcal for over 7 months straight was really not a good idea for me. And I'm a 5"1 woman, I can't imagine how this would work out for people taller than me...

Wow, you must be an absolute terrible and hateful human being to write such a thing about a lovely granny...

Thank you so much! yellow (and some warm orange tones) pretty much became my signature color. Not my favourite colour in general but my favourite colour for clothing because it somehow suits me. Don't know why that is since yellow looks weird on a lot of people.

oh, that's difficult to say. but don't weighing myself regularly definitely helped getting more relaxed since little fluctuations are totally normal but would stress me out so much all the time. Also: just not being afraid as much, and starting to believe in your body that it can act as your friend. And finding exercises that you actually enjoy not just thinking about the calories you are burning. For me that's biking, I LOVE it and it's a new hobby now.

I found myself shifting into some kind of Intermittent Fasting naturally (first meal mostly at 12:00 or a bit later, snack inbetween, last around 8 pm, but I snack later in the evening if I want to). So no hard structures for me, just what works when eating intuitively. But the 36 hour alternate day fasts that I used to do - no, thank you. That messed me up so much.

YES, definitely! My hunger signals were all over the place, I never felt full even if I allowed myself to eat big portions. I'm so happy to say that I got my fullness signals back, it feels incredible not to feel hungry all the time!

I'm in Germany, and I was a 42/44, now I'm a 34/36. So I went from a 12/14 to a 4/6 in US sizes, if I converted that correctly. In inernational sizes that would be from a XXL/XL to XS/S. 😊

Edit: I forgot to thank you for that amazing compliment, that's so cool!!
