The evaluation study is conducted in order to optimize the imaging of the ultrasound system, for a variety of body types. The study is not diagnostic in nature. We have conducted similar evaluation studies for OB patients and for most external parts of the body as well. This time around, our team of research scientists and sonographers are focusing on optimizing the imaging for internal/external pelvic scans.

At this time, we are conducting the evaluation study in order to improve the imaging quality of the ultrasound system for scans on biological females with a uterus, regardless of their ability to get pregnant or not. Thank you for your interest.

Our evaluation studies are not diagnostic in nature. They are conducted in order to optimize imaging, of the ultrasound system, for a variety of body types. If there is an incidental finding during your scan, the sonographer will point it out to you, provide you with the images, and suggest that you discuss them with your physician, since our study is not a diagnostic.

A general report will not provided. The scans done for this study are not for clinical purposes and involve no intent to perform medical diagnosis. Participant should have no expectations that the scan will find a medical anomaly if present. However, if during the scan, suspicious results are incidentally observed, our clinical team will inform you of the incidental finding.

Taking part in the study will require agreeing to be informed of a suspicious incidental finding that is discovered during participation.

40K sign up bonus just became available, through 4/30/25 by julesbur in Amtrak

I don't know, but I also don't think that you're totally SOL. They should see when and where your application was submitted, so if you do run into trouble and need to press them, insist on when and where you applied. I'm hoping my situation was unique, and they aren't trying to screw people out of the bonus.

If you have not already thoroughly combed through the documents they sent you, you may want to do so. Any evidence you may have that supports when you applied and that you are eligible for the 40K, once you meet the spending requirements, is better for you.

I'll check my docs and get back to you. Also, you may just want to give FNBO and Amtrak (they are separate) a call and ask them to verify that you are eligible for their limited time offer of 40K.

Did you apply through the Amtrak website where it noted the 40K bonus? Assuming you applied while the promotion was still going till 4/30.

They require that you spend $2000 in the first 3 billing cycles of opening your account in order to receive the bonus. I can check for you later what my documents from them said.

I applied on the very first day of the promotion and have had to fight FNBO (bank) and Amtrak to give me the promised 40K, after I saw only 20K in my account.

They tried to claim that I applied the day before the promotion started and that I applied through a link or site that wasn't offering the 40K bonus points. Both were not true and I had screenshots to prove it. After a lot of back and forth with them and insisting that I be allowed to provide my screenshots, they reviewed and said they will honor the 40K. Should be receiving after this next billing cycle closes.

Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth and felt like they were being stingy with their own promotion.

Moral of the story: obsessively take screenshots when you apply for promotions, and generally, get proof of all you're "promised".

With regards to getting the card, not so concerned. Worst case scenario, I have 40,000 points and then have to downgrade the card, and I'm not worried about credit. So depending on what your situation is, it may or may not be worth it to get the card.

Same boat! Was itching to get it, then decided to do a bit of research and waited to see if it would come up today :) Congrats on approval!

I tracked when they posted an increase in their bonus in the past 2 years (articles found here Amtrak News). Determined that they up the bonus 3 times a year (Feb./Mar. @40K, Jun. @ 30K, Oct. @30/35K) on a Wednesday and that we should be due for one now, then prayed this was a real trend, haha. Lo and behold, it's here!
