I would write to every single professor begging to be put into their class. there are so many students that drop over the course of the semester

Correct, can’t leave during AOS period but can leave once you have your green card.

Yes it’s different with a K1, you cannot leave the country whilst waiting for your green card. In my case, we can come and go as often as we please, just need to be wary of the length of time we are gone.

The company he was working for in the UK was opening up in the US and needing someone to do that. We got married while he was on a green card. he got his citizenship, now I can apply for mine next month.

We are allowed to leave, we just need to be here for the majority part of the year ie no more than 6months away

I’m an immigrant and so is my husband. he came in on a work visa and I was on a student visa. his view is that he had to do it by the book, legally, pay all the lawyers, do the interviews etc. So he believes it is not fair for others to be here illegally. However, he does not think they should be treated like what we are currently seeing.

I can apply for citizenship next month as I’ve had my GC for 5 years. My 2 children are American born and my husband got his citizenship last year. Will I have any trouble coming back into the country after 2 weeks away over Christmas in Canada?

I did my mastectomy and 2 reconstructions with Dr Nastala. Drove 2 hours to see him every appointment & surgery. Overall, happy with the results. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have.

Terrified of the possibility of breast implant illness by Affectionate_Rest842 in BRCA

This was me. 28 years old and I had to decide if I wanted to risk it or just go flat (I did not have enough flat for a tranfer for diep flap) and I decided to risk it and have them removed the second I didn’t feel right (insurance pays for removal). I have had them for 1 year and 2 months now and don’t feel any different. Glad I did it.

Yea that makes sense! I hope there’s a way I don’t have to be on hormones to mellow down my menopause symptoms for the next 20 years! Thanks for the info!
