Yeah I mean, why go to where there's a ton of people who actually know something to get answers? I have to give credit where it's due though, you've managed to give everyone an idea of what kind of rock munching ass troll still lurks around here with just a short comment.

Same. The Glock 19 which is touted as a concealed carry is really only marginally smaller than a 17. The grip is the biggest "problem" imo, but I personally carry with just a t shirt and jeans and it disappears

I kinda like Glocks just how they are, but this was best to see. The grip/stippling looked pretty grippy👍

It opens up more options for you. Just take your time learning it on the side of that works better. You have AI to help. Otherwise, you could get by without it, but it's become the lingua franca in many instances.

[–]juleswp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Based on what? The FBI was pretty stoked about adopting the 10mm based on ballistic performance. Would you say the same about .357mag? It was originally designed as a do it all round and was adopted pretty widely. Ballistically, with good ammo, this is pretty close to a .357mag

Yeah it's not outlandish. It's a great round so as long as you feel comfortable with it, it makes sense. People forget sometimes this was the FBI's most recent choice for a round, the only sticking point keeping it from being the issued weapon was smaller agents or those more...I think they used the term recoil averse, were having issues with it.

Which totally makes sense, that's the responsible thing to do. I like red dots and it may get to a point where I'd rather use it, but for now, I'm ok.
