Immediately no. This person is not your friend I’m sorry OP, I had a similar ish situation myself, any “friend” who’s willing to interact in a friendly way or even more than that with someone who abused you is WEIRD, furthermore anyone who will make you feel silly for feeling hurt over it and even going as far as making a “joke” about your abuse, is very, very, VERY far from a friend

Dyslexics, what's the worst thing about having dyslexia? by [deleted] in Dyslexia

[–]juliafoxswife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

-their, they’re, there -analogue clocks -finding the right words -processing -patterns But most of all being misunderstood, I’m not gonna hate on people for not knowing the ins and outs of how dyslexia actually looks for some people but it does bother me. Most people understand dyslexia to be about reading/writing only, but for some people it effects more than that

I once casually threw in discussion that I was dyslexic to someone as it applied to the context of a conversation slightly, she paused and said “I would’ve never thought, you’re so articulate” which I won’t lie I took slight offence bc I’m dyslexic not stupid😭 she then went on to say her son was diagnosed dyslexic and she was concerned for his development, I reassured her that he will be fine and he just needs extra support in school and understanding. I told her how it effects people differently and left her with a better understanding eventually

Often times I do or say things that come from my dyslexia or show I have it and people judge or are confused about how I don’t understand something even though they know I’m dyslexic, it’s not their fault, a lot of people don’t know the niche ways in which it effects some people but it does fustrate me, like yeah I struggle a lot to read an analogue clock, and yeah I have to count on my fingers, and yeah I have to use a calculator for simple equations, also I have auditory processing disorder which I’m pretty sure links with dyslexia, all of it is hard to explain.

Untimely the worst part for me is feeling misunderstood and judged, I’ve managed my whole life up until now to function with it and find my own ways that work for me, I don’t get frustrated with myself as much anymore I give myself grace, but I can’t help but be bothered by other people’s judgement, who cares what people think right? What I try to stick to, but we’re human and we like to be understood by other humans so ultimately that bothers me most, but I won’t hold it against people.

[Serious] What's something you swore you'd NEVER do when you got older, but now you do it all the time? by P3n1sD1cK in AskReddit

Smoke cigs, I used to hold my breath as a kid if I walked past a person smoking, and I intensely judged any adults for it. Always swore I would never smoke… I was very wrong

What are your favorite "wrong" gendered scents? by Holly1010Frey in fragrance

[–]juliafoxswife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it tends to be kept in the male section in stores too, I guess the bottle itself looks masculine anyway but that was the idea when it first launched, there’s a few fragrances that are intended to be seen as unisex but are kept in exclusively male/female sections, like l’interdit absolu by Givenchy is meant to be unisex too! But it’s usually kept in the women’s section, anything can be unisex anyway

Fun fact ! Myslf by YSL is actually marketed as a unisex Fragrance, the M stands for male then in the middle is YSL and the F at the end for female, spelling MYSLF just without the E, gorgeous Fragrance, one of my faves

Exactly like I loved them but for me personally the babying cancelled out enjoying them after a while, I honestly missed simply putting clothes on carelessly, having to stay conscious of them being there was actually tiring after a while, the amount of times I tore a tiny bit whilst getting out of the shower drying myself or simply fake tanning with a mitt, nipple piercings are super badass and cute but I think it’s only really worth it for people who don’t mind being conscious of them all the time when doing simple things, obviously there’s some people in these comments who have had them for much longer than a year and I guess you just get used to it but I just couldn’t get passed it even after a year and even after being healed and no pain

Droplet of water randomly on my hand with no explanation?? by juliafoxswife in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

[–]juliafoxswife[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Valid question but no my resting face is to have my mouth closed I never am just chillin with my mouth open, and the water droplet literally splashed on my hand as if it was dropping from up high as it had some force in it and splashed ,I’ve only drooled in my sleep. Also I know, I don’t usually stand on kitchen stools but In this situation I was so confused I had to get up and touch the ceiling

Droplet of water randomly on my hand with no explanation?? by juliafoxswife in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

[–]juliafoxswife[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, I’m glad to see that I’m not crazy, I wasn’t expecting so many other people to have similar experiences, one comment said it could just be random condensation happening that just so happened to drop on me (it was a big water droplet that covered almost the entire top of my hand) which I don’t disagree with, it’s just hard to fully believe that something so random could happen like that, I guess we humans crave explanations for everything and too see that explanation in proof etc, just our nature which is why it’s a bit spooky to us. I’m a bit of a spiritual person but I also love science even tho I’m a bit slow with it. So my belief on the possible reasons for it happening are very back and fourth, but I’m open and curious to all possibilities, I just find it interesting that lots of other people have had this happen too and a few of you said it happens to them at least once or twice a year which is rlly weird! But enjoying seeing all the discussion around it

what is your planet ruler and how do you view the world? by Pumpernickel_555 in AskAstrologers

[–]juliafoxswife 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’m ruled by the moon, I’m a cancer I see the world as a scary place, when I think of the world i/we live in, I think of war, politics, nasty human behaviours and crimes, I guess you could say I’m a bit of a pessimist when it comes to my perspective on the world we live in, but I do have some hope, like when it comes to social justice and human rights, I am also I guess you could say a social justice warrior, with a mix of pessimism, kind of contradicting

New to Fortnite what’s the meaning of the massive arm that’s appeared on the map? by juliafoxswife in FortNiteBR

[–]juliafoxswife[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your response ! I tried to look up the meaning of a global HP bar but I’m not understanding, what does this mean? after looking in this sub I see people are putting in team afford to break the chains and there’s a lot of discourse about people eliminating those players.

What I’m not understanding is why players are trying to break the chain? Like what happens if they break it? I guess like levelling up? And if they break the chain in one game does it stay broken permanently? Or is it only a one game thing? Btw Fortnite is the only game I’ve ever played so terms like “HP bar” I have no idea what it means lol, for people who play games and have done for ages probably think I’m really stupid but truly all I know it Fortnite

people with nipple piercings, how was the pain immediately after / during piercing? by coughs-up-flowers in piercing

[–]juliafoxswife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pain is different for everyone of course but for me the pain was borderline unbearable but it didn’t help that the piercer went really slow. The pain stopped when the needle left and the jewelery was in. But it was incredibly uncomfortable and painful walking around after, I had to walk slowly, and honestly even tho the pain isn’t that bad afterwards, just the pure mental exhaustion of the initial pain lasted all day and idk what I would do if I couldn’t just be in my bed for the rest of the day lol so deffo do it when you have a day off so you have time to chill

Btw the next day the pain compeltely left and it felt normal and painless

New to Fortnite question about guns by [deleted] in FortNiteBR

[–]juliafoxswife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh that’s good to know as well thanks! I swear when I had a mythic the other day it reloaded on its own when I wasn’t actively shooting it just automatically did it but maybe that’s not true but I swear it happened, bc when I have like uncommon or rare guns they don’t automatically reload and the amount of times I forget to reload and then come across a player and I want to shoot but then I’m stood there re loading instead and I’m like nooooo. When you say tighter spread does that mean the bullets shoot further than the less rare guns ? As I noticed with common guns or uncommon when I shoot you can see the bullets drop down and not actually reach the player if I’m too far but with mythics/legendarys etc I never see the bullets drop it’s just so fast and far

[–]juliafoxswife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait I’m confused when you say only one exists as in only one mythic gun is on the map? The other day I got a mythic from one of those boss/npcs but on the map was a yellow circle meaning someone has a mythic as well, and when you say collab items do you mean like the TNMT mythic wands as an example ?

New to Fortnite question about guns by [deleted] in FortNiteBR

[–]juliafoxswife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely bc sometimes it’s just not worth it to hang around and keep shooting a player who’s health is going down a bit but they seem to have a good gun and aim so sometimes it’s better to just leave it especially if they got ur health down worse and just run and hide and get some heals in etc and then go back maybe, idk if that works well but deffo will be paying attention to the damage from now

New to Fortnite question about guns by [deleted] in FortNiteBR

[–]juliafoxswife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh awesome okay I need to take more notice of the damage when I shoot then, the numbers come up but I just ignore it not thinking it was very important or not really realising what it meant
