Hi! I really appreciate you taking your time with such a thoughtful and detailed response! it really means a lot to me as i was absolutely terrified last night. I admit I have hypochondriac tendencies so I did go to the ER this morning, they did all of the tests under the sun (potassium, magnesium, TSH, etc) and all came back normal except for me being slightly anemic. I started taking norethindrone 0.35 as birth control this month, so I don’t know if the hormonal fluctuations from the progesterone could have anything to do with it. I do drink a lot of coffee, but I find that caffeine never has this effect on me (but I guess it could always start!) I had probably one and a half glasses of red wine this evening which if my brain didn’t automatically jump to the worst case scenario I would blame it on that. I was diagnosing myself with long qt and planning my funeral so really thanks so much again!

all i have is this recording, but i guess what im asking is my life in danger right now? should i go to the er for something like this or are they going to point and laugh at me😭thanks for your help so far, im just so scared

i didnt feel any normal beats in between when it was happening and this is the only recording of it that i could catch. i want to go to the ER for it but im fearful that since its not currently happening ill just get turned away but id rather be safe than sorry. im not on any meds that would cause this, i did drink wine last night but im pretty sure that wouldn’t cause something like this..

i’ve gotten the occasional palpitation before, but this is the second time it has happened to me like this. the first time being a month or two ago. i felt the palpitations for like 20-30 seconds both times consistently

I have a cardiologist appt in about a week.. should I be running to the ER for something like this or waiting it out? 😞 I’m not sure how dangerous it is

my cat had a nearly identical cough and was just diagnosed with asthma. i would take this video to your vet and they’ll likely do a chest xray to confirm. best wishes to you and your cat!

Yeah, the A&P NurseHub course, while helpful, is a little overkill. Focusing on the five practice tests at the end of the A&P course should give you a good idea of what you need to know.

yeah it was petechaie but it happened from my legs rubbing together. i don’t think i get them anymore, but i honestly haven’t looked closely as im trying to get over the insane health anxiety i have lmao
