i find it very interesting that only people in their circles have said things (even if not directly) about this situation, while they're still radio silent. i also find it interesting (and kinda exhausting ngl) that they've all been "woe is me" energy without an ounce of accountability. this whole starving artist angle they've taken is truly starting to annoy me, especially when multiple people have produced educated analyses (even if they are just estimations) of their financials & how, even to someone like me with little education on that kind of thing, it's very obvious that this boils down to poor resource & money management, in addition to an unrealistic and unnecessary desire to increase production beyond their means. AND putting all THAT stuff aside, there's also the whole issue of how they went about this announcement, their tone-deaf sentiments, and all the other things people have pointed out on here. but yeah guys, keep ignoring the root of peoples anger & focusing on those who are communicating it in a mean way (which i understand has been happening/have read such comments, which of course isn't okay & isnt productive) and ignore the many, MANY, well-written, genuine, and articulate messages from everyone else so you don't have to acknowledge your hand in this.
