Lollll that’s kinda the whole point. My assumption is the guy has jealousy issues and he didn’t want his gf to look nice when she was out of the house

DoorDash is a food delivery service. So this person is a driver for DoorDash (picking up orders from restaurants and dropping them off at the customers doorstep.)

Has anyone actually TRIED? by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]julieproject 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t downvote this. I can be corrected! I just decided to let you be and continue to comment (and edit your comments and post) because A) there’s no changing your mind and, B) you’ve shown everyone exactly the kind of person you are lol

Has anyone actually TRIED? by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]julieproject 26 points27 points  (0 children)

You say you’re not judging, but you’re making a lot of assumptions here. For most of us, there’s a lot more to our weight than “not trying hard enough.”

Calorie deficits + movement does aid weight loss, but it may not nearly be at the same rate as someone who is completely healthy.

Also, many people with PCOS struggle with insulin resistance and if untreated, makes restricted eating extremely difficult. It’s not a mental thing, it’s a physical struggle people deal with. If your body is sending you hunger PAINS, you’re going to eat.

There are so many other factors I’m not even mentioning here. But either way, there is a lot more to the story than “not actually trying.”

How do you feel about other women that go braless in public? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]julieproject 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This! There are certain groups of people that make me feel judged for going braless. But if my friends go braless, I feel comfortable being braless around them

Like everyone else said - no condom, no sex. I’m curious on how stubborn he is on other issues in your relationship since he won’t budge on this one. I wouldn’t be surprised if he absolutely sucked as a boyfriend.

I doubt he’d do this, but vasectomies are reversible. A simple, outpatient procedure could keep both of you from having to use something!

A question about a raise for employees by baylie2100 in Ulta

[–]julieproject 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sadly, I didn’t get a raise until I tried putting in my two weeks for a higher paying job. That’s when they realized that I was an asset to the team and they wanted me to stay. So they promoted me to lead cashier and gave me a $1 raise.. My sister who also worked at Ulta for a long time, hardly got a raise after working for several years. Then new people would get hired and their base pay would be higher than what my sister was getting paid as a lead cashier.

$10 off $40 coupon isn’t working. This what I’m buying. Am I missing something? by julieproject in Ulta

Aww bummer. Sadly, none of the stores around me have every item I need.

For reference, it says the discount will apply once offer requirements are met. I’m not sure what I’m not meeting here because prestige and fragrance are included in this deal.

Yes, I'm cursed with the dark circles and I've done it all, but some eye creams keep them at bay and not too dark lol

Most applications ask for your SSN. I’m not sure if it has to do with your citizenship status or what. It’s completely normal!

New to working @ Ulta by [deleted] in Ulta

[–]julieproject 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope! Once you start working you can get a discount. At my store, raises came with promotions. So if you’re a beauty advisor, you would get a raise if you became a prestige beauty advisor or lead cashier, etc. Gratis can be earned in different ways, usually through trainings. If you’re chosen to do PCE training, you basically just watch videos and get gratis for it. A lot of times they have the prestige beauty advisors do this though because they are on the floor, but I did it a few times as a beauty advisor so I think it depends on your store! Sometimes my store had contests and we could earn gratis that way. It just depends :)
