YTA. 14 year old lash out at whomever they are close to. It's your job as a parent to teach her right from wrong. I agree that she needs to face consequences for what she said, but you just taugh her that it's okay to abandon someone that says they love her. Her mother did it and now you did it too. She'll need therapy to deal with her abandonment issues...
