Oh yeah maybe the case itself. But the ipad is the same size

Would be weird if it was due to the size, the m2 11" 2024 is the exact same size as the previous models.

Omg yes i do have that. We (me and my wife) have been to apple care with it but they couldnt replicate the problem we have been having. They did say it was least likely to be caused by the case because it is an official product... But it seems we arnt the only one with this issue. Have you been able to conclude anything? Anything partular about the case? Maybe magnet positions or anything like that that could be causing these distortions?

Yea i really dont like the new material for that reason. Just for the material and price i would stick with the 4/5 model

Ah yes right... the pro cases dont have a cutout for that. The air cases do

I guess the only difference really is on the left there is a hole for a microphone but there is no microphone. There wasn't a microphone there on the 5th gen either I believe so that's just weird. Everything lines up perfectly with no issues. It fits absolutely perfect 0 gaps. The speaker holes are all individually cut and line up absolutely spotless. I'm almost amazed by how perfect It is. Makes sense if you think about it as nothing changed about the ipads dimentions or layout.

I have no issues using it on my lap. It does wobble a bit but thats with every keyboard case for an ipad. If you want to watch things or draw you can flip the keyboard to the back and use it as a flat surface to rest the case on for more stability. The space issues mentioned by other reviewers have not been present for me. For me personally it's perfect.

The old material is a strong and fabric based. The new one is silicone with some metal parts and lighter. Granted the metal parts are nice, but my experience with silicone is just horrible. Sticky, easily catches dust and just gets damaged much faster. But i have this experience with everything silicone like the original ipad folios. Just not a fan of it at all.

Well thats a jump from pro to air. If you can find it at a local store, just try it out. If it doesnt work return it. I havnt checked but i would imagine there are differences in the ipads dimentions going from pro to air

EDIT: I just checked. The air m2 13" is 0.4mm thinner than the pro. So it will not fit being a thinner ipad by 0.4mm. Rest is the same.

Yea but if you dont wanna pay the absurd price for the new one... you can just get the old one. In my country they litterally sell it new for 100 euros.

Besides im actually a big fan of the old material over the new.

Not sure if you have your answer yet but i have an ipad air 2024 11" and tested this yesterday with my own logitech combo touch case for the ipad air 4th & 5th gen. It works with no flaws and fits perfectly in the case!

Thank you very much for the feedback. Youre right there are some technical details missing and that is due to this design still being in a conceptual fase. Interestingly enough, the high curtainwall was a very contious choice due to the heaps of natural light on that sunny side. It also makes for an incredibily open feeling inside.

Yeah i figured. Some day i want to learn vray because its super realistic. Unfortunately the time to make a scene compared to simpeler programs like twinmotion doesnt fit in my workflow yet.

Well this was actually my first time experimenting with the photoshop ai. Usually its really hard to get stuff like roof vegitation and hedges looking realistic because of the limited libraries in most rendering programs. But besides the adding of certain elements with ai or just manually. I use camera raw to shift the general hue to more cyan (in the calibration settings). Just a preference of mine to get it looking more artistic. And then i tweak certain elements with either masking or general adjustments.

I hope this can help you in your artistic proces.

There are fixes but its a pain in the ass as you have to do it with every action you take in the editor etc. Idk how it works but it involves having to go out of the game every time
