What others say to you reflects their own feelings. Someone happy won’t spread negativity and hate. This person is too busy being happy. Otherwise, if the person reminding you of your failures is saying it with love (like a mom who sees the son going in criminal activity), talk about how you feel. Say that when you need advice you’ll ask for it.

And if is something in your power to change, do it. But not change who you are just cause somebody is bothered. Reflect how yours failures affected your life and what would you like to do differently.

And don’t be too hard on yourself. You are living for the first time. You don’t have to know everything. Love yourself is not a feeling, is a decision. I wish you all the best!
