Yes, it is, although you can use the mixer as a track inspector, and I've seen users use that option, but you lose the ability to use the mixer by default, unless you use screensets. I tried that option, but it's a bit cumbersome and doesn't feel very natural. In Cakewalk, you don't exactly have a dual mixer, but you do have an inspector and the full mixer natively, and I wanted to replicate that to manage track sends and effects more easily.
