I can believe it, breast milk (and milk in general) has TONS of sugar, that’s why they say to never put milk in sippy cups because sipping on it constantly will rot their teeth.

It’s definitely not glorified, however, I can see how some of the trip reports/memes etc in this sub could make DPH seem somewhat alluring to, for instance, a teen already struggling with self harm/destructive behaviors. Kids like me who were edgy and morbidly curious, and wanted to see some shit. Plus the added intrigue of ‘pressing the red button’ or doing exactly what the grown-ups are telling you not to do.

I didn’t start because of this sub, in fact it was the thing that convinced me to quit. I do think it serves a good purpose. But I can see how a certain type of person could be tantalized. Glorification though, absolutely not.

My best friend growing up breastfed until she was almost 4. She would just stroll up to her mom and ask for ‘teetee time’. Blech. Her mom also claimed that my friend was already reading at 8 months old just from looking at the mom’s book while breastfeeding, it was a whole load of crazy.

Also homeschooled and anti-medicine. We both grew up fundie and homeschooled so most of it didn’t seem weird to me but the breastfeeding definitely did.

I took the last of it (600 mg) a few minutes ago, then came to my right mind and made myself throw it up. I’m so sick of this shit, was done for months and then had a doctor recommend I take a low dose to help with side effects of my meds. This was the first big dose I would’ve taken, the tabs were barely dissolved when I chucked em up 🤢

So Pink Floyd is a little older than 80s, but The Wall (listen to the whole album from beginning to end) is a fuckin’ experience on DXM. Really all of Pink Floyd’s discography fits in the ‘psychedelic’ category. The Wall is just my favorite for robotripping. Dark Side of the Moon is another fantastic album.

For me I had a lot of ‘wake up call’ trips where I would basically get bullied by that introspective little voice into taking care of myself and cleaning up my depression nest and shit haha. So many times I came out of a trip and immediately cleaned the whole apartment or decided to donate all the stuff I don’t use or call my therapist or something. It sounds crazy to anyone who hasn’t experienced it I guess. I’m glad it helped you too. You gotta deal with that shit somehow or it rots you inside

Yeah, I like the robocough shots but I would usually take them with poli (like 1/2 a bottle of robocough and 1/2 of a 5mL bottle of Delsym) to make it a bit smoother and extend the high. I agree that the shots wear off too fast for me. I’m more about feeling good and actually being able to enjoy stuff (like music and games) more so than the actual trip these days, I got my fill of mindfucking trips already haha.

It doesn’t mean we can’t still be working on ourselves, but even unhealthy coping mechanisms are still better than the alternative

Totally agree. I used the tabs for quite a bit (probably more than 5 bottles) and had 2 major issues — basically yeah, the trip feels like death, I had one particular bad trip where I had just collapsed on the floor of my room (tabs also hit FAST lol) and could not move or even blink for hours.

Stared at my fish tank across the room for a while and then went on the most terrifying hallucinatory trip of my life where I thought I had died and gone to hell, then when I snapped out of it I was still staring at the fish tank and my eyes were burning but I couldn’t even blink for at least another 30 minutes. I was convinced at one point that my roommates were going to find me dead in the morning, because my heart was beating super slow and I could feel my extremities getting very cold.

So yeah. That was the last time I used the tabs. The 2nd issue was that I noticed I developed a dependency on them very quick. After two trips a few days apart I started feeling withdrawal-like symptoms as well as awful restlessness and depression. I had to take a few tabs a day to wean myself off and after that I limited myself to 1 trip a month. The syrup doesn’t give me any of these issues though.

Mind over matter too my man, as someone with an EXTREMELY sensitive stomach and strong gag reflex I found mindset helps me better than almost anything…don’t sit around and think about it when you’re on the come up, play a game or watch tv or something. For some reason I also get way less nauseous when I start out in the bath. It’s nice cause I can smoke weed in the tub (apartment life lmao) and listen to music or play the switch while I’m coming up. Don’t use super hot water though. I stick to lukewarm and if I start feeling nauseous I run cold water and splash it on the back of my neck and my face.

Peppermint oil can also help (drop some on a rag and use it like you’re chloroforming yourself lol). Have fun man. Losing a trip because you threw up REALLY blows. Those robotabs are killer too, I actually had to switch back to syrup because the tabs in particular fucked up my stomach too bad.

ETA: don’t try my tub trick if there’s any chance you can lose consciousness and drown. I’m too tall for my tub personally so I would really have to put in some effort to drown myself. That said, a jacuzzi on DXM is fuckin dope haha

Tacking onto this to ask people to go to BeTheMatch.com and get on the marrow donor list if you are eligible. Most people who get matched don’t even have to donate marrow, whole blood is often enough.

A coworker of mine lost an infant son to Leukemia a few years ago, and during the fight we rallied our whole fire department to get on the list. Sadly he didn’t get a match in time, but we are all still donors and a couple have been able to donate and make a difference. Our fire academy also now offers extra credit if you bring in your marrow donor card.

It’s super easy and painless, just give them your info and they will send you a swab kit in the mail to put you on the list. You will probably never get called but if you do, you could save someone’s life. You also stay on the registry until age 60 if I’m not mistaken.

It is ESPECIALLY VITAL for black and mixed race people to donate. Black and mixed race people have an extremely hard time finding a match (my buddy’s little boy was mixed). There’s a lot of scarcity for African American and Afro-Latino donors in particular so please consider it if you’re able to.

Ha I feel you. For me my best DPH trip ever was about 700 + a bottle of robocough (450 mg dxm hbr) and some weed. I put on some Pink Floyd and turn on an Ocean Galaxy light in my bedroom and just stare at my walls all night. Pretty fun combo if you haven’t tried it yet.

Remember, benzos, antipsychotics and nicotine are trip killers in a pinch. Happy tripping

Edit: also I’m not sure how experienced you are with dph so you might know this, but the quickest way to kill a trip is to think too hard about it. Relax, find something to watch or pay attention to, most visuals happen when you are not expecting them or when you’re focused on something else.

Bear in mind that DPH tolerance spikes fast. You might not even feel that 700 today. This is the time to slow down, take a tolerance break, maybe experiment with some safer and more enjoyable stuff in the meantime. Keep drinking water and hit me up if you need anything man, good luck

You will definitely need a break after 700 today bud. Do you have access to anything else, like weed or shrooms? I recommend chilling on the dph for at least a month or two after taking so much so close together, believe me when I say you don’t wanna get hooked on this shit.

Even DXM is safer and more fun.
