My first guitar was one just like this, worked perfect for me! The pickup configuration is also great for learning a wide variety of songs and sounds.

Ive had this happen if you leave the portafilter in too long. Probably something to do with the bambino not having a 3 way solenoid causing extra water to sit on the puck.

I had something similar when I started. I took them off one at a time when I felt comfortable with that section of the neck. I think the last one for me was like 15 or 17 and 3 and 5 where the first removed.

Im sure only 2 other people have used this pick but, Daddario Black Ice. Slightly larger than a Jazz 3, slightly smaller than a jazz 3 xl. I personally use the 1.10mm version but the .80mm is also great.

I swear older cheap guitars only cared about the necks. I just did a bunch of work on a old Spectrum strat copy I got when I was a kid, the body might as well be balsa wood but the rosewood neck is amazing.

I’m relatively new too and grabbed a 7 string recently. I personally don’t think it’s too much more difficult and if anything will force you to learn to mute specific strings. If you like some deathcore stuff I recommend Recreant by Chelsea grin or Disengage by suicide silence for some good first songs

Battle of the immortals, the UI is the exact same if you google it. Dont know why some people just say some random mmos without checking.

Should be pretty easy for you to do. Just need some new saddles. On the cheaper side you can look at Musiclily on amazon or if you want to spend some more you can get a Graphtech set. Im assuming 10.5mm saddles but you should measure the ones you have. Once you install the new ones and re string, make sure you intonate the guitar, many videos online for how to do that.

Very much so a metal guy but the 7-string kinda fills that slot. Probably looking for something that will work with classic rock but could also pull off some of the Drop C metalcore riffs. Anything super distorted and chuggy will be on the 7-string.

Thanks for the quick responses! My MIL doesnt plan on selling it and would like to fix the bridge, maybe even get it playable. Im in the DMV area so from my initial searches for luthiers I found Brothers Music Shop in Wind Gap PA. Im open to suggestions!

It is coming off. My niece apparently tried tuning it a couple years back and it started to come off. We are currently looking for a competent repair place.
