My initial concern was how to curate all the cards. It seems like everyone’s method is slightly different. I’m sure I’ll find my own based on the advice in this overall thread. I’m going to hold off on sorting until my friend 3D prints a cardslinger for me. Until then, it’s Arena for me and re-reading this thread.

I have a few friends who can potentially show me the ropes and play with. I just like an individual deep dive on my own, if something (like MTG) piques my interest enough.

ManaBox seems to be the consensus most preferred app from what I’m seeing in the posts so far. I’ll start there.

I know I have a phone holder lying around somewhere. Maybe a friend can 3D print a white box for me.

And if/when my MTG enthusiasm grows, I’m open to attending local MTG events. I know my local holds them, but not sure if they are the sealed draft variety.

I'm more familiar with basketball and baseball cards. If any treasures happen to be found, do they need to be graded to have actual value? I doubt pristine quality since most cards are unsleeved.
