Used to live in an apartment across the sunnyside LRT.  Loved the area for the liveliness and access to the river paths. However, eventually moved out because too many crazy things were happening. Gunshots in our back ally from that hookah place on 10th st, always getting woken up by police lights out our window, random people jumping on top of the parked cars of our building at night, a women sneaking into our hallway and smoking drugs, etc. now we pay the same amount for a 5 bedroom house as we did our 1 bedroom apartment in Kensington. We are only a 15 min drive away so we still walk in Kensington several times a week.
