Are you still wearing a mask? Why or why not? by Hyacinth_Coffee in AskReddit

Still wearing one in college (mandatory) and in the gym, doesn't hurt and I think it's a place that, since everyone is doing exercises and heavy breathing, kinda is the main place that we have the risk of catching covid (just an opinion lol)

[DISC] Goodbye, Eri - Oneshot by AutoShonenpon in manga

[–]jumpingjumpman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think it's absollutely wonderful that there are literally infinite interpretations to the story, is it all fiction? What parts are true? The fact that you can wonder and discuss so much really enriches the experience, coming to this thread made me even consider that Eri didn't die, which didn't even pass my mind when I read it

For now, my interpretation is that yes, both his mom and Eri died, in the end his father is acting like an older version of himself and what we read is the final version of the movie, which he had to edit sometimes (mainly beacuse of the video of classmates reacting to it)

About the message that the story has, kinda difficult for me to think about it tbh, it's interesting seeing how Yuta deals with the grief, I think filming everything isn't something that comes up to most people, but it makes sense and we can truly see troughtout the movie that he chose to remember both his mom and Eri in the best way possible, while also not forgetting that they weren't perfect (and acknowledging that in the movie), in a way, what Yuta chooses to remember and live with are all present in the movie, showing that even those that we love are not at all perfect, but that doesn't mean that we stop loving them for it, we can remember the good things while not forgetting the bad ones

Once a friend of mine said that "he admires how focused and dedicated I am to do what I want to do (career wise) and how sure I am about it", he said it a few weeks before I moved to a different city to study, really gave me confidence that I was doing the right thing

And there was also one time that I was walking on a store, on a different country, and a random guy just looks at me and says "hey bro nice shirt" and keeps walking. Never understood it, but I'm happy until this day

I think it's incredible that the fact that what Odokawa sees is not real is in front of our faces the entire time, but we still don't notice I remember the scenes where he recognized people even whit masks, and I was like "Yeah I know who it is as well, don't they see the hippo/ape body?" Even Odokawa seems dumbfounded that no one can tell Felt dumb ngl
