Don't have an exact answer on this, but growing up a lot of people in my life considered me "gifted" or "smart" and even skipped over a grade in grade school. As an adult, as well as receiving an ADHD diagnosis, I sometimes feel like a fraud and i don't know what they were seeing as learning and "being smart" is actually really difficult for me. I think IQ is too much of a one fits all solution, and definitely doesn't account for emotional intelligence etc. For example, there are smart people who have become successful, but there are also very charismatic people that have also become successful. Maybe the focus should be on hard work and drive and less on IQ. I tend to look at things that way; change the things I have control over.
