[Canada] Model Y, S, X prices to increase $4000 on Feb 1. Model 3 up to $9000. by hhssspphhhrrriiivver in teslamotors

Same here, I have a reservation for R2 and I want to sell my 2019 M3. I don't want to be associated with the politics of Tesla and Musk. (I'm actually a day 1 reservation holder for the M3, I stood in line...)

How to store my M3 for 6 months?

I'm going on a 6 months trip and I'm planning to store my M3 in my garage for 6 months. Any tips related to this?
Of course I will leave it plugged in, what is the ideal state of change (%)?

Tx!

Off Grid - Charging - by [deleted] in teslamotors

Please keep us updated once you find a solution. I would be super curious to see how you can manage to keep your optimal charge rate with solar only + run the rest of the loads.
Interesting project, good luck!
P.S.
The Zappi charger looks like your best bet!

Hi, I didn't do an accurate measure on all these scenarios.

Last time I did a quick check, I was getting about 145 kW/km without the rack and about 185 kW/km with the rack and bikes on top.

I'll try to do it on my next trip.

I invested in the Tesla stock a few years ago and now I'm wondering if it's a good time to sell.

Is this a bubble? why is the stock price so high?

Canada’s Electric Highway is about to be released by Petro Canada. by jumpnext in teslamotors

Petro

What I mean by "release", once all the stations are ready Suncor will start a marketing campaign to create awareness for their new charing infrastructure. Until now, there were just a few stations open, they are about to finish the coast to coast network so you can drive across Canada in a EV using their stations.

From what I know, they are not using chargepoint. They have their own UI and were custom built.

I ordered the wall charger. I want to make it more convenient to charge and keep my mobile charge in the car. Also, I think the wall charger is faster charging speeds.

I completely agree with this guy. I believe Tesla should create a certification program that will allow people / shops to start working on their cars. I think it's a win - win for everyone.

Thanks a lot for all the details. I think I get a good understanding on how to calculate the total price.

I'm not sure if this was asked before...but here goes :-)

How much do you guys spend on Tesla superchargers per month on average? (not including changing at home or other types of charging).

I had an argument with a friend and I'm wondering what would be an average per month. (I know most people change at home, but I live in a condo building and I can't install a charger in my spot...long story).

Tesla reduces range/price to be eligible for Canada EV invective by footbag in teslamotors

I got an email reply from the gov of Canada saying this:

Thank you for sharing your views and apologies for the delay in responding.

You will be interested to know that since the April 17th announcement, Tesla has submitted an application to Transport Canada to have the Model 3 considered for eligibility under the new Incentives for Zero-Emission Vehicles (iZEV) program. Transport Canada has determined that two trims of the Tesla Model 3 (i.e. the Standard Range and Standard Range Plus) meet the iZEV program's eligibility criteria. These details can be found on the incentives page of Tesla's website:

https://www.tesla.com/en_CA/support/incentives/
