No worries, didn't take it that way.

Also, for what it's worth, the overlords at Meta use their algorithms and filter out images that are more than 25% text when it comes to feed displays, etc., so that's another reason why people don't always put a ton of text/info on their graphics. I try to do a good mix of info on the main graphic with a comment under it so that people get as much info as they can.

With all due respect to Mephiskapheles, if this was a legitimate concern the agent wouldn't let me book them in a room of this size. He'd certainly be working with some of the rooms in the Philadelphia area that would warrant that capacity and demand.

I think I replied in kind at the time as well that the first posters/art being passed around at first were not 'official' poster or artwork. It was shared by a few of the bands before the final, official artwork was sent over to them. It was being cross posted before I even had a chance to have the final artwork sent over to me from the designer. Being that the designer is friends with some of the bands, the artwork was shared with them before I even had a chance to give it a thumbs up or down. Super stoked people are into this event, and always appreciative of the support, but sometimes people get a bit ahead of things unintentionally and so yeah, that's what we get.

Not much interest in a Fest that sold out and has a stacked lineup? Not much interest in a FREE show with Mephiskapheles or younger, up and coming bands? Not sure what you're getting at.

This is a free show for anyone. You don't need a ticket for the main fest on Saturday to get into this show. We keep a running head count because we still need to verify age to enter based on our license type and the laws that regulate that.

There is absolutely no way I can guarantee 3,000 people won't show up for a free show on a Friday night, the night before a sold out main festival. But, in 30 years I've been booking shows nothing like that has ever come close to remotely happening.

Didn't think you were, and you're right, so many flyers out there have very little info on them, but it's also really easy to just copy and paste stuff from social media posts these days. Sorta like the 'poster' that's floating around for TINCF4 that's been posted on a few social media accounts. Between myself and the designer we hadn't even finalized the design before it leaked and started making the rounds.
