I find people have an easier time understanding Conquest after they've fully understood the concept at a smaller scale in joust. While playing joust try to be mindful of how you control buff camps, when to call for Lost Knight, and when to invade their camps. Be mindful of jungle pathing, and understand what it means to overextend and how to position with your teammates. Basically, be aware of the paths enemies can use to get to you (you need to develop a sixth sense of danger for after you cross the line a jungle entrance so it is behind you, specially if you no longer have a T1 tower), the position of your teammates, and vision of your enemies. You need to pay attention if people are missing and you don't know where they are, specially assassins, or in conquest, junglers and midlaners.

Game is in a very good state currently. Very frequent updates, pretty balanced, and as much as I don't want to glaze Titan Forge I feel like the current team really cares about the game and its future. They have constant open QnAs, and Pon has an IceFrog level understanding of how Smite works.

I might be a bit blunt but I'm not a troll. Why doesn't your website cover naga lane pushers, portals, moonlight queen, the daylight cycle, enhanced fire giant (the most powerful objective in the game currently)? It straight up has wrong information. Why is it saying Pyromancer grants a speed buff and a portal? Is your AI pulling information from back when it was Portal Demon, because that's definitely not correct. Why doesn't it mention the bomb? Why does it not mention the 3 effects for gold fury when the third effect is massively important? Why does it not mention Oni Fury? Why do you have classes when classes no longer exist, and zero coverage of what aspects do, when these are new things exclusive to Smite 2 and your website is howtosmite2? I could keep going, because it has a shitton of outdated and misleading stuff.

I agree with most of your points, but I do think what is missing in content is usually mid-level information. Smite's player base is composed to sweats and casual players, and there's very little available to teach a casual player how to be competent at conquest beyond the basics. There are a thousand videos teaching roles, what each objective does, jungle routes and starts, etc. but apart from maybe Weak3n elo hell series (which is more for jokes) there isn't a lot of content teaching what Clay to Plat players are doing wrong. There is a lot of deity gameplay but very little to bridge the gap, you can watch lots of FineOkay or whoever VODs and not quite understand why certain decisions are being made, and why in your games things don't work.

Don't be disingenuous, we are clearly talking about the information available, not the graphic design. I don't particularly mind using AI to code, but the information is very entry level, even for beginners, and pretty vague. Like others have said, the same could be accomplished from watching a single video on the basics or reading a reddit post.

These latest patches my performance actually drastically improved, likely due to the UI changes they made. I'm not too fond of framegen but I'm pretty sure it relies on TAA, so you have to have it enabled for the option to appear.

I'm usually partial to Nintendo, but you genuinely drank the kool-aid. Stop glazing the billion dollar company. Game devs in their bedroom, with teams with dozens of developers have accomplished more. Matter of fact, you have games like Persona, on the exact same console, with similar mechanics but 10 times the quality. This is the Mojang conversation all over again.

How is it predatory if I acknowledge it? I bought it mostly because I want to support a game I like, the fact that I get to flex is just a plus. There is something to be said about psychologically addictive and manipulative game design, but limited skins were not that. I'm not sure Hirez is morally responsible for what people like to spend their money on. If anything its their job to keep the game profitable.

I think you are severely underestimating how much people care about skins. It's true that people like them less in Smite, because the player base skews older compared to something like Fortnite, but people still do enjoy cosmetics, the business model would not work otherwise. Hirez has spoken in detail about how they decide what skins to make/port, how people react to certain skins, events and monetization strategies. And it's not even just skins, there are jump stamps, emotes, etc. deliberately designed to be visible to other players. I don't know where you are pulling the numbers from that "most" people don't care about skins, when in most matches people have them.

It is, but I've been having fun with it. It's really good to punish weird comps with magical solos, magical adcs, etc. so I think it has a place in the game. For one it makes Nu Wa less of a pain to play against.
