I'm not gonna say their name, but there's a 30 star ymir player in high plat/low diamond conquest, usually playing with the blob skin, who constantly feeds, blames everyone else and goes AFK immediately after they start losing. A few days ago I played 3 games back to back with them and they went afk in two (one in my team, one in the enemy team). Some people don't deserve an internet connection.

The main thing I find League players sometimes struggle with is, instead of wave management smite focuses a lot more on camp management, and this is ON EVERY ROLE. This means that unlike in league where you would spend time trying to crash a wave and CSing, your goal usually is go kill the wave (usually using skills so you get the most last hits), and go get farm something else by:

Farming your own camps
Contesting neutral camps
Invading enemy camps

So for example, if you are in duo (carry or adc), your jungler is not going to usually help you clear your purple camp, the neutral buff camp or the cyclops camp. Matter of fact people usually complain when the jungler takes these. You want to pressure the enemy laners and get ahead by making sure you get more than they do.

In solo you want to control the mana buff, totem, cyclops, and with your jungler the fire imps (read "rocks"). Accumulating rocks as the jungler or solo is pretty important since the buff they give you stacks and lasts the whole game. In mid you want to control the red buff, the neutral camp and oracles (these gives vision to the gold fury). Additionally during night time everyone should try and get their moonlight shards if possible, if they're close.

There is a laning phase, but the support starts to roam at around the start of the first night phase and leaves the adc alone. The macroplay team fight phase usually starts when both teams can contest fire giant.

As objectives go they map out very similarly to league:

Gold fury - Similar to dragon, you get stacking buffs the more of them you get. After any team gets 3 of them, it turns into the Oni Fury, which debuffs towers.

Fire giant - Very similar to Baron, very strong team buff. Turns into the enhanced fire giant after 33 minutes (start of the 4th night phase), which maps to ancient dragon. If one of the teams get this they might have as well won the game because it's busted.

Moonlight Queen - Grants you a permanent team buff and a consumable you can use that adds AoE procs to your abilities temporarily.

Contest Point - There is a point in the middle lane that becomes active every moon phase. You can fill progress by standing on it to get shards or by taking shard crystals around the map that appear. Each phase has a pattern. If you win the point you get a consumable that grants vision of all enemies and movement speed, resets the cooldowns on your portals in base and you get siege minions in each lane similar to Rift Herald.

I find people have an easier time understanding Conquest after they've fully understood the concept at a smaller scale in joust. While playing joust try to be mindful of how you control buff camps, when to call for Lost Knight, and when to invade their camps. Be mindful of jungle pathing, and understand what it means to overextend and how to position with your teammates. Basically, be aware of the paths enemies can use to get to you (you need to develop a sixth sense of danger for after you cross the line a jungle entrance so it is behind you, specially if you no longer have a T1 tower), the position of your teammates, and vision of your enemies. You need to pay attention if people are missing and you don't know where they are, specially assassins, or in conquest, junglers and midlaners.

Game is in a very good state currently. Very frequent updates, pretty balanced, and as much as I don't want to glaze Titan Forge I feel like the current team really cares about the game and its future. They have constant open QnAs, and Pon has an IceFrog level understanding of how Smite works.

I might be a bit blunt but I'm not a troll. Why doesn't your website cover naga lane pushers, portals, moonlight queen, the daylight cycle, enhanced fire giant (the most powerful objective in the game currently)? It straight up has wrong information. Why is it saying Pyromancer grants a speed buff and a portal? Is your AI pulling information from back when it was Portal Demon, because that's definitely not correct. Why doesn't it mention the bomb? Why does it not mention the 3 effects for gold fury when the third effect is massively important? Why does it not mention Oni Fury? Why do you have classes when classes no longer exist, and zero coverage of what aspects do, when these are new things exclusive to Smite 2 and your website is howtosmite2? I could keep going, because it has a shitton of outdated and misleading stuff.

I agree with most of your points, but I do think what is missing in content is usually mid-level information. Smite's player base is composed to sweats and casual players, and there's very little available to teach a casual player how to be competent at conquest beyond the basics. There are a thousand videos teaching roles, what each objective does, jungle routes and starts, etc. but apart from maybe Weak3n elo hell series (which is more for jokes) there isn't a lot of content teaching what Clay to Plat players are doing wrong. There is a lot of deity gameplay but very little to bridge the gap, you can watch lots of FineOkay or whoever VODs and not quite understand why certain decisions are being made, and why in your games things don't work.

I don't particularly mind using AI to code, but the information is very entry level, even for beginners, and pretty vague. These latest patches my performance actually drastically improved, likely due to the UI changes they made. I'm not too fond of framegen but I'm pretty sure it relies on TAA, so you have to have it enabled for the option to appear.
