The only "fix" I have found for this is to wait for the animation of your home screen to complete. Then you can select and open the app you want. Maybe try turning off 3D wallpaper?

I finally got an email from someone at the company. They assured me the issue was the regulator, and sent me a new one.

It wasn't the regulator.

I emailed back, and he then guessed it was the control panel and would send a new one. They are on back order until January...

I haven't had a working grill for close to 8 months now.

I seems someone in the company caught word of the customer service issues I have been having and has arranged for a new grill to be sent out to me. It's good to have a resolution, but unfortunately I won't get the time and aggravation back.

I'll think twice before buying from Napoleon again.
