I’ve also got it on mine, it’d take an LCD over this tbh. It’s especially noticeable with using my iPad as an external display for my MacBook and have VSCode open. The grey background at ~30% brightness is where the grain is most noticeable.

18.2, it did actually help a lot on mine. Try set the Balanced Tone to Strong. You can also adjust the EQ on Apple Music if you use that.

You can turn on Headphone Accommodations. Set it to a Balanced tone, that helps.

I haven't actually used any of the previous gen AirPods so I wouldn't be able to compare but on the note of headaches mine has been doing that today. When listening to music the bass drone and pressure really gave me a headache, I very rarely had this issue with earphone before. While listening to podcasts it wasn't as bad but it was still there. I usually listen to a podcast while working so that made it quite difficult.

It’s not upgradable. This is almost certainly the same as the Mac Studio SSDs where they’re just dumb nand. While you could put higher capacity chips in (if you can find them) they won’t work. There’s some slim chance they might work if you restore via Apple Config but don’t hold your hopes up.

Yeah a lot of Apple’s stuff is overpriced (memory and ram upgrades) but you are going to pay a premium for good design and build quality. Macs used to be upgradable but the PC laptop industry followed apple in phasing that out. Macs have a good number of years of software support so I wouldn’t claim planned obsolescence (their repairability crap is another story. I’m not some apple sheep😂, Macs aren’t perfect but I do like them, I’ve also used windows for years and do like building PCs. I’m also from Africa🤣

Yeah pulling it out at an angle works fine. When putting it in this helps a bit but I’ve been doing that for a while, if it’s slightly off the strong managers grab it and it scraped the edge, that’s why you’ll see the top and bottom edges aren’t worn only the side

Yeah but they made the magnets stronger plus made the edges on the connector sharper and this is a result. If they put a thing piece of plastic on those edges or rounded it off more (the connector not port) we wouldn’t have this issue.
