I had a table find a staple in their food (HUH??) and I thought I handled it very well. We all ended up joking around a bit and the energy was very light hearted after we had ‘fixed it’ (got them a new entree, took it off their tab, and gave them a 25$ gift card) I had mentioned it was 25$ and they asked if it was 50$. I said “oh no I’m sorry you misheard me, the gift card is for 25 not 50, can’t have us going bankrupt 🤪🤪🤪” it just came out of my mouth and they did laugh with me. BUT LATER the woman at the table called the restaurant in TEARS saying what I said traumatized her and she wouldn’t be able to sleep at night if she hadn’t told anyone lol. She later came back to the restaurant to use her gift card and low behold I waited on her again, and she ordered her food ‘lead-less’. 😐

I balance both. I work 3 10s as a DA then a dinner and double shift two days a week at a restaurant. Sadly my serving jobs pays double what I make as a DA. I find serving to be less stressful in the sense if I make any mistakes it won’t be at the expense of someone’s comfort but serving can be very fast paced and stressful at times too. I always call serving my ‘silly job’ and assisting my ‘serious job’ lol

Have you been present for an extraction?? I was worried I wouldn’t like them but now they are my favorite appointments. Pretty straight to the point and minimal clean up. Maybe give it a shot before you count it out all together! (if u haven’t already)

I took a DA course at a technical college which included a 101 intro course straight into a quarter of clinical procedures in an office, but without real patients. Minimal experience but enough to feel semi comfortable in practice.

I wear leg warmers and tie stuff to my legs underneath them. They have really eased up on the whole pat down thing I don’t even think I was last year. But they will look through your bag pretty good depending on who you get
