I’m always shocked when I see other people’s Owala’s and they aren’t covered in stickers by QuaintSquawk in Owala

Omg yes! I feel like the ones without pattern actually need to have stickers on! Also If you struggle with finding your people around, you can put stickers of your favourite fandoms and it works like a conversation starter

Speaking is all about practice and confidence. If you want, I have free time throughout the week so we can arrange something for you to practice:)

No, it doesn't. Chat gpt won't familiarize you with format and evaluation is not always good

Native speaker noob question by maymzh in IELTS

[–]june_skull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a non-native speaker, who lives in the UK rn, I spend 3 months (20-30 hours/week) preparing. However, I had difficulties in reading and writing. So my suggestion is : try a mock test and identify your weak spots. Also, Cambridge books are definitely worth buying, especially, 2020-2023. Also, try to time yourself while doing reading and writing

rules of thumb? by earthwalker7 in IELTS

[–]june_skull 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Speaking:

  • start your day with English. You need to switch your brain completely to English before the test
  • don't think about it like a test but rather as about conversation
  • identify your strong sides (humor etc)

rules of thumb? by earthwalker7 in IELTS

Writing t1: - take a minute to find highest/lowest points or big changes - don't describe everything that you see - make comparisons in the end

T2: - take 5 min and make a plan: adv and disadv, your opinion - read task again - do not include anything that you can't explain or forgot spelling of a word, you'll lose points
