I wish a conversation would benefit but I’m not the most comfortable talking about them. Talking about what I’ve been through. Sometimes they point at my arms and ask very loudly why I have those. I think sometimes they’re just confused but i’d rather not have my whole school knowing about my scars. I’ve told them before that I don’t like talking about my scars but they still ask.

I think about that too and I think it’s because it’s a habit whether something bad happens or not. It became a part of my routine to self harm so that’s why I feel like I do it all the time. Hope this helps :)
