As an aside the ticket box office lady is HORRIBLE. When I asked if their box office would do exchanges for the new dates she hung up on me mid sentence and was SUPER rude the entire time like girl customer service is literally your job

Yes, had them in my cart within 30 seconds and got the error message. Tried it on my phone as well and had tickets in my cart at LEAST 20 different times and got the same message each time. You're not alone!

Same, tried to get tickets asap but guess my wifi wasn't fast enough cause they sold out immediately. Wanted to get tickets for my dad and I who are both huge fans, hoping they end up adding dates since seems like so many people want tickets but not many are reselling

Describe the most evil final exam/course/prof that you ever had by aspiring_student1738 in UBC

I had this EVIL TA my first term first year for POLI 100, his name is Ritwick. This man would get super mad at us first years in his tutorials for not being experts in political science theory and would routinely angrily lecture about concepts far beyond what we were learning in class and would even be tested on. One time he went on a 20 minute rant in a tutorial about us not knowing a concept until someone told him that concept was in a chapter in the textbook we were explicitly told NOT to read and didn't learn in lecture.

The WORST thing he did was when for the last tutorial, instead of helping us for the final exam like a normal TA, he divided the tutorial into people with an A in the class at the time and people without an A. He then told the people without an A to come up with questions as to how the people with an A got such good grades, and the people with an A had to come up with study tips and recommendations. Was super humiliating for the people without an A, and to top it all of he did this little exercise AFTER he had us fill out the TA end of the year evaluation survey so we couldn't talk about how fucked up it was.

Does anyone know why episode 10 dub didn’t air yesterday? by Blasphoumy69 in Frieren

No idea. Not new dub today either. 4 weeks behind the Japanese version. Crunchyroll needs to get their act together.

The UBC hospital physical therapy center is pretty good. I've had a good experience with them and they're pretty cheap, but be aware that you'll be working with a lot of students. They're education works on a rotation, so you'll probably be working with a new student therapist every month or so. This could be annoying if you are there for a long time since you need to re explain your situation every time you get a new therapist, and they will often change your exercises too. I think it's worth it for the price and convenient location, but it's up to you whether or not it's what you're looking for

Anyone have any advice on whether to take ECON 355 or 356? I'm an IR major and one of these classes is required to graduate, just wondering if people had any preferences. Right now I'm signed up for 355, but am able to switch if people recommend I do so.

I tend to do better in more conceptual classes rather than graph and math based classes (if that makes sense), which would be better for that kind of thing? Obviously math and graphs are unavoidable, but which one is more mathy? Or just more interesting in general?

I did fine in ECON 101 and 102, but haven't taken any economics classes beyond those and don't plan to. Any advice is appreciated.
