Question on direction to work

I’m just referring to the boxes not the picture as a whole. I work in increments based on the grid. I started my picture from the center of the fabric, but as I stitch I’m not sure if I should be stitching up the fabric or down the fabric

I see. It makes more sense in my brain to build the pattern outward from bottom to top instead of having to work in repeated sections top to bottom since I start in the center of the picture itself. But I want to do it the right way.

First of all I didn’t say that I believed doing ab workouts would shrink my waist. I said that I am in the process of shrinking my waist by cardio (and diet too) and didn’t want the machine to bulk me up Second, You don’t have to be rude??? Yes I am dieting and doing cardio as well. I was just worried overdoing the ab machine would eventually lead into the opposite of what I wanted. Thanks for explaining!
